How can they not? I know a few parents who seem to have it all together. They’re united. When they’re not, they discuss it away from the kids. It works great for those kids who don’t follow and listen through the door. But once kids detect that united front isn’t so united, they pounce! So what do we do? Once my wife and I had a serious disagreement and called our pastor. We both trusted him. It was hard for my wife because he said “Your husband is the leader of your home, right? Trust him to lead.” She did, to her credit, and God unified us. While I was right in this situation, I’ve been wrong a lot. Men, we need our wives to hold us accountable- let them! Remember, that builds unity, too.
Do kids see us at our worst?
