In today's episode of Footsteps, TWR's Scott Hollinger mentions, "My wife Naren went through terrible trauma as a result of her experiences in Cambodia in going through the...'Killing Fields.'"  I must admit, I can't remember the last time that I heard someone bring up the 'Killing Fields' in Cambodia, but we must not forget that approximately 1.5 million (and possibly many more) Cambodians were murdered by Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge regime between 1975 and 1979.  The dead accounted for 20-25% of the country's population!  I will refrain from describing the cruel and crude means of execution, but I encourage you to do some research and refresh your memory about the 'Killing Fields.'  And, I hope you'll join me in praising God for that church on Guam that helped Naren heal after the trauma that she and her family experienced.
