One day, when you're playing a trivia game or watching a television game show, you might come across this question under the category of Geography: "What are the two official languages of Paraguay?"  I would bet that Spanish will quickly come to mind.  But what's the other official language of Paraguay?  Guarani.  Remember that answer...Guarani.  Believe it or not, Guarani might be more widely spoken in Paraguay than Spanish!  According to Maralina Alfonso of RTM-Paraguay, if "we want to reach the countryside people, we must do programming in Guarani."
