"Learning to trust is one of life's most difficult tasks," said Isaac Watts.  I think most of us would agree with him.  For instance, let's go to Romania where a missionary friend of mine, Dave Jolly, is serving with Reach Beyond.

Dave points out that under Nicolae Ceausescu, many Romanian Christians were persecuted, and, unfortunately, during that time, some priests within the Orthodox Church were informants to the secret police.  No wonder many Romanians don't trust Christians.

So how do evangelical Christians rebuild that trust.  In Dave's case, he is involved in radio planting.  May God use Christian radio in Romania to soften hard hearts just as pouring rain softens parched ground.
