How did Jose Luis come to Christ?  It’s true, God used MTW missionary Smith Cutter to deliver the Good News, but there’s much more to it.  In evangelizing police officers on the streets of Acapulco, Smith reminds us “when the Lord moves them, that’s what we’re after.” 

Smith’s understanding of salvation lines up with what the apostle Paul said to the church at Thessalonica: “For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction” (1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, ESV).
