In today’s Footsteps, Andrew Sundar, TWR’s International Director for South Asia talks about TWR’s initial response to the massive earthquake that struck Nepal earlier this year.  TWR-Nepal went beyond ministering just through the airwaves.  The TWR team rolled up their sleeves, partnered with other non-governmental organizations, and helped distribute humanitarian aid to those in need.  Should we be surprised?  I think TWR-Nepal did what all Christians should do in times of crisis—they showed mercy.  Let’s not forget the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:7 (ESV), “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
