Hebrews 6:1-8 - Let Us Go On Unto Spiritual Maturity (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים)

From Chapter 6:1-8 on the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), brother Gideon Levytam emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth in one's life. The Hebrew author encourages his brethren to move beyond the elementary teachings of Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah, and become mature believers. In 1 Peter 3:18A, Peter wrote to believers in Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah saying, But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For those who are truly redeemed and enlightened, who have been partakers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted of the heavenly gift, if they continue in disobedience, judgment from God will come upon them. At times, God who is Holy, removes such a one out of this world physically not eternaly, because of sins which they have committed. There is a sin unto physical death. 1 John 5:16.

Esther 6:1-14 - By God's Providence Mordecai Was Exalted (אֶסְתֵּר)

From Chapter 6:1-14 of the study of the Book of Esther (אֶסְתֵּר), brother Gideon Levytam presents before us the Providence of God, who throughout the ages has protected His people Israel. Queen Esther invited king Ahasuerus and Haman the Agagite to a second banquet, planning to inform the king of Haman’s plan to kill all the Jews. God orchestrated an event which which brought about the exaltation of Mordecai, and the humiliation of Haman. The providence of God caused king Ahasuerus to have a sleepless night, resulting in his reading that Mordecai the Jew had saved his life. When Haman came to speak to the king regarding having Mordecai hung on the gallows, the king questioned him about what should be done to the man whom the king delights to honour? To Haman’s utter shame, it was not him whom the king wanted to honour, it was Mordechai. Haman had to parade about Mordechai on the king's horse declaring, thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delights to honour.

Romans 1:2-4 - Jesus the Messiah, Born of the Seed of David

From Chapter 1:2-4 of the study of the Book of Romans, Gideon Levytam continues with the introduction of one of the most crucial texts in God’s Word, which highlights the declaration of God’s righteousness. In his letter to the believers in Rome, the Apostle Shaul - Paul, declares the good news, that God has provided a way, through the Lord Jesus, for sinners to be declared righteous. Paul describes himself as a servant of Jesus the Messiah, who was chosen by the Lord to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God. In days of old, God had, through the Hebrew prophets, promised to bring into this world His Son, the Messiah, to be born, a descendent of king David. Paul emphasizes the truth, that God, by raising the Man Yeshua-Jesus from the dead, after He died as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, showed that Jesus was truly the promised Messiah.

Hebrews 5:11-14 - Grow Up Spiritually and Be Not Dull of Hearing

From Chapter 5:11-14 on the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), brother Gideon Levytam points us to the challenging words the author writes to his brethren, who were dull of hearing. The unknown author of the letter to the Hebrews had much to say to his brethren regarding the high priestly service of Jesus the Messiah, now in heaven, serving as a great high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Because of their lack of spiritual growth, he needed to once again teach them the basics of the word of God. By this time, they should have been teachers, feeding on spiritual meat, rather than babes needing spiritual milk, because of their dullness in hearing.

Esther 5:1-14 - Esther's Courage and Haman's Pride

From Chapter 5:1-14 of the study of the Book of Esther (אֶסְתֵּר), brother Gideon Levytam directs us to God’s providence working behind the scenes. Esther endangered her life by approaching king Ahasuerus, to speak to him on behalf of her Jewish people, without being summoned. In spite of this, king Ahasuerus, in his love for Esther asked, what do you wish queen Esther, and what is your request, it shall be given to you, up to half the kingdom. Wisely, and by the providence of God, Esther invited king Ahasuerus and Haman to a banquet, where once again the king asked Esther what her wish was. Queen Esther then invited king Ahasuerus and Haman to a second banquet. Meanwhile, Haman had proudly gathered his friends and family to inform them of his advancement in the kingdom and of his riches and glory. Yet, Haman was not satisfied, as long as Mordecai the Jew was sitting at the king's gate. Haman’s wife Zeresh counciled him to prepare a gallows to hang Mordecai thereon, so with pleasure, Haman prepared the gallows for hanging Mordecai.
