The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector (מָשָל הָפָרוּש וֶהָמוֹכֶס)

Gideon Levytam highlights an important lesson that Jesus the Messiah taught in the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, found in Luke 18:9-14. The Messiah warns the self righteous person, who exalts himself, to be humbled before God, and not to think themselves better than others, because God knows the heart. Anyone who honestly confesses their sins, and believes in Jesus the Messiah, will be forgiven and justified before God.

Ephesians 2:14-15 - One New Man, United in Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah

From Ephesians 2:14-15, Gideon Levytam explores the amazing truth, of the eternal oneness, that Jews and Gentiles who are true believers in Jesus the Messiah possess. Once the Messiah Jesus was born, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death, and rose again, He fulfilled God’s holy Law, providing forgiveness to all who believe. Thus, He tore down the middle wall of separation which God had set up between Israel and the nations, making eternal shalom / peace between all true believers, Jews and Gentiles, uniting them together in Himself, one new man.

The Seven I AMs of Jesus the Messiah - The Vine (אָנֹכִי הַגֶּפֶן)

Gideon Levytam presents the seventh and the final I AM statement found in John 15:1,5 - "I Am the Vine” (אָנֹכִי הַגֶּפֶן). In the upper room in Jerusalem, just before departing for the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus the Messiah encouraged His disciples to abide close to Him. Although, He was soon to die as a sacrifice on a Roman cross, Yeshua graciously explained to His troubled followers that He was the True Vine to whom they were linked. If they were to bring fruit for God in their lives, they must abide close to him.
