Today we start with a question that we didn't get to in a previous Q&A - "How many resurrections are there in the Bible?"
Then, it's on to your questions in the live chat:
Is is right to give a visiting pastor or preacher an honorarium?
Are Gentiles a part of spiritual Israel?
Are religions other than Christianity inherently demonic or are they just false?
Is baptism by sprinkling Biblical or not?
Do you think we can love God with all our heart on this side of eternity?
Did Rebecca have suicidal thoughts? It seems like she experienced a depression when her twins started fighting in the womb.
Is assurance of salvation described in 1 John 5:13? I grew up in the church where the emphasis was on sanctification and works based salvation.
Are DNA tests "sanctioned" by the Lord? Is this like visiting a medium in God's eyes?
What happened to Joseph, the adoptive father of Jesus?
Does God give us interests, or things we want to pursue, just so we can crucify our flesh, and stop pursuing what we want in life?
Are there things that we can do to receive a miracle from God?
This is the 6th lesson of David Guzik's teaching series on Church History:

Psalm 136 is a special psalm, with each one of its 26 verses repeating the sentence, His mercy endures forever. Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, the phrase has somewhat of a liturgical sense to it, as if the assembled people of Israel said or sung this in response to the direction of the Levites leading singing and worship. We picture a great multitude of the people of God gathered in the temple courts. A priest or Levite would call out a reason to give God thanks, and His people would respond with, “For His mercy endures forever.”
Consider how great the mercy of God is, as it is expressed in the person and work of Jesus Christ throughout this wonderful psalm!
Psalm 100 is a psalm of thanksgiving, and it speaks of an invitation to the whole earth to know and to worship God.
Pastor David Guzik gives the what and why of giving praise and the what and why of giving thanks.
