Live Q&A with David Guzik! – Christmas GIVEAWAY! We did a big giveaway on this live Q&A - you can find the details for the giveaway below. Here are the questions that came in on the live side chat: Is it OK for our kids to believe in Santa? I’ve heard it said that God will redeem all things. But how is that possible? We know not all of mankind will be redeemed and certainly not Satan or the other fallen angels. How do we worship in spirit and truth? can you give an example? What does “your life is hidden with Christ in God” mean? (Colossians 3:3) Who is statue of the girl in the red dress on your shelf? Did the Magi visit Jesus on the day of His birth or at a later time? Were there really three wise men (Magi) who visited Jesus? Does Christmas have any connection with the Jewish Festival of Lights (Hanukkah)? Did King Herod ever find out if the Magi found Jesus alive? Pastor David, what's your favorite family Christmas tradition? Both Matthew 1:23 and Isaiah 7:14 refer to the Savior’s name as Immanuel, so why was Jesus never called that after His birth? What does it mean when Colossians 2:9 says, “For in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily”? Does God still heal people? If God forgets the sins of His people, why are they still judged when everyone is judged? What is a “homemaker” as referenced in Titus 2:5? What did this look like culturally, and are there Biblical examples of this? Does the Christmas tree go back to the groves of Asherah? Rules for Our Give-Away Enter to Win: 1. Acts 18:1-22 - God's Word to the Weary

In this section of Acts, Paul travels to Corinth, meets Aquila and Priscilla, and begins preaching the Gospel. He, then, finishes his ministry there and begins his third missionary journey in the regions of Galatia, Phyrgia, and the city of Ephesus.

Psalm 122 - Coming to the House of the LORD and the City of God

Psalm 122 is the third of a series of 15 psalms each with the title, A Song of Ascents. It is one of the four Songs of Ascents that is specifically attributed to King David. He wrote it both for what Jerusalem was in his day, and for what it would become under his son and their successors. David perhaps never made pilgrimage from a great distance to one of the major feasts, but he wrote Psalm 122 in the voice of one who did, and who had arrived at the Holy City.

Psalm 121 - The God Who Keeps and Helps

Psalm 121 is the second of a series of 15 psalms each with the title, A Song of Ascents. As a song sung by travelers, this is especially relevant for the trust that it places in God throughout the journey. It is a psalm that honors the God who keeps and helps.

What Does the Bible Say About Cremation? - LIVE Q&A for December 16, 2021

Today's lead question comes from Magda, who asked about cremation, and if it is a Biblical practice - something Christians should or would be allowed to do. Then, lots of great questions from the live chat: Why did Lazarus in John just sleep in his grave during his dead time when the other Lazarus and the rich man in Luke both went to the afterlife hades before the cross? What does 2 Peter 1:4 mean when it says we are “partakers of the divine nature”? Now that Jesus is in His heavenly glory, is it still true what He said on earth: “The Father is greater than I”? Why didn’t Jesus write one of the gospel accounts Himself? Where did the idea for halos in Christian art come from? What does it mean to be chosen (elect)? With so much tragedy in the world and in my family's life, I am starting to question God's promise to be our shepherd. How do I stop this apostasy in my heart? Why doesn’t the Gospel of John include the miracle where Jesus met Simon and Andrew? Will Christians who die while sinning go to heaven or hell if they die a sudden death before they have the time to repent of that particular sin?

White Jesus?
