Eh, church isn’t our thing.

Just curious. What do you mean by that? As Christian parents, we’re told by the writer of Hebrews not to neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another. While worshiping together as a family is great, worshiping together with other Christians is ALSO great. Why is it important? In my own experience, church is a place of encouragement. As our kids see other Christians in different walks of life physically and spiritually, it allows our families to see God’s amazing grace. The testimonies of those saved from the grips of hell are astounding. Paul says we should “make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification” (Romans 14:19, NIV). Reconsider going to church. We need it. And so do our kids.
