When your Faith Makes You Different

Have you ever felt left out of a social situation because of your faith? Maybe your friends were doing something you knew wasn't right. Maybe you skipped an event, a conversation, or even a relationship because you wanted to honor God. And if we're honest, that can hurt. Nobody likes feeling excluded. Especially when we're young, the pressure to fit in and the fear of missing out can feel overwhelming. But Jesus never promised that following Him would always be popular. In fact, He said in John 15:19, "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world." When following Christ makes you feel left out, remember this: you're never left out of God's family. His acceptance is greater than the approval of any crowd.
