The Unexamined Faith

Who do you look more like, your mom or your dad? Maybe you got your mom's eyes, your dad's nose, or you look exactly like one of them. We inherit a lot from our parents. Our appearance, our personalities… And for some of us, we inherit their faith too. But eventually, there comes a point when you have to discover your own faith. Socrates famously said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” And maybe the same could be said of faith. So ask the hard questions. Bring your doubts and concerns to God. Find people you trust and study Scripture deeply together. Because God isn't afraid of your questions. And faith isn't about pretending you have all the answers. It's about knowing Jesus personally. Don't just inherit someone else's faith. Take the journey of discovering Him for yourself.
