Barbara Shantz

Barbara Shantz TWR’s Global Development Strategist Barbara knows about cross-cultural mission. She has lived overseas for more than 18 years and lived cross-culturally for many more. She has lectured and discussed local fundraising in more than 45 countries with many hundreds of leaders. Barbara joined TWR full-time in 1999, serving as US Church Ministries’ director and then TWR Europe director of Marketing & Development. She currently works with TWR’s Global Fund Development leaders to encourage biblical stewardship, missions and local fundraising (rather than looking first to foreign funding). Barbara is a Senior Co-Advisor on the Lausanne Ministry Fundraising Network and a candidate for a B.Sc degree in Business at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.
