Kelly-Jo Herwig is an apprentice to the Chief Operating Officer, LuAnn Srombeck, at Creation Moments. She holds a Master of Arts in History from San Diego State University since 2002. Her master’s thesis was entitled Preserving the Documents of the Christian Experience: A Case Study of Three San Diego Church Archives. She spent thirty years in the education realm, teaching in many capacities, from children to ESL adult learners and university students. Kelly has been a literal, young-earth Creationist since childhood and was an apologist for a literal defense of a seven-day Creation history for decades in both Christian and public education. She is a former adjunct professor of history at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, teaching Western Civilization in person, blended, and finally in a class she developed online for students. She loves the peace of the farm her family calls “The Refuge” and writing historical fiction books for youth, with the dream of one day being a published writer.
