God has called and equipped Mickey Walker to be a street preacher in Ireland.  It's part of the Lord's sovereign plan of bringing salvation to the people of Dublin, and as you'll hear on today's Footsteps, Mickey is making a difference!  In fact, these days, when I read the 10th chapter of Romans (which is where you'll find the theme verse for Footsteps), I see a picture of Mickey Walker in my mind.

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written:

"But they have not all obeyed the gospel.  For Isaiah says, 'Lord, who has believed our report?'  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  (Romans 10:14-17, NKJV)

In the case of Mickey Walker, as he "preaches the gospel of peace" from a street corner, passersby are coming to faith because they are hearing the Word of God.  It's that simple.
