At TWR, we often speak in large numbers!  For instance, we reach at least 190 countries.  We have programs produced in 230 languages.  On Guam, we use two 250,000 watt radio transmitters.  On Bonaire, our 450,000 watt signal makes us the most powerful station in the Western Hemisphere.  Honestly, it doesn't get much bigger.  And yet, at the same time, there are other places in the world where a much smaller approach is also proving effective.  On today's Footsteps, TWR's Garth Kennedy talks about one such project in West Africa.  That's where TWR installs solar light poles for speaking hope to individual villages.  But, as you listen to the program, consider this fact: whether we're broadcasting at hundreds of thousands of watts or just a handful of watts, the message is just as powerful!
