"There is a very strong (radio) signal all across Iran now, and so that is a real answer to prayer," reports TWR President Lauren Libby on today's Footsteps.  Should we be surprised when God answers our prayers?  In Psalm 118:5 (ESV), the psalmist writes, "Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free."  There is also a phrase that is repeated in Psalm 118: "His steadfast love endures forever."  Knowing that God answered the prayer of this psalmist, and also knowing that the perfect and loving character of our Lord "endures forever," why should we be surprised when our Heavenly Father answers our prayer requests today?
