In the background of today's Footsteps, we hear the staff of TWR-Malawi singing "I Surrender All."  It's an excellent backdrop for TWR's Ann White and I to discuss the necessity for believers to "be willing to surrender all."  You see, true Christianity is not "a little of Jesus and a lot of me."  No!  A Christian must totally surrender his or her life to the control of our Heavenly Father.  Isn't that what Jesus did at the Garden of Gethsemane?  Remember His prayer to the Father?  "Not what I will, but what you will" (Mark 14:36b, NKJV).  If we claim to be followers of Christ, then we must follow the example of Jesus in surrendering our lives and wills totally to the Lord.
