It Was the Christians who Cared for the Sick
On today's Footsteps, Charles Morris of Haven Today point out that, "Throughout history, whether it was the plague in the dark ages of medieval times, it was the Christians who cared for the sick." That's still the case today. For example, just look at the hospital tents that Samaritan's Purse has set up in New York's Central Park.
While we're not all members of the medical community, as Christians, we can view this pandemic as "an amazing opportunity to ... offer people the grace of Jesus Christ." Whether through a phone call, email message, or by running an errand for someone who can't leave home, offer someone today "the grace of Jesus."
