Have you ever met a person who seems to glow?  I'm not talking about a person whose personality is so bright that they "light up a room."  I'm talking about that man or woman whose humility, kindness, genuineness, and grace simply radiate from his or her countenance.  Instead of an attractive disposition or infectious smile, I'm referring to someone who bears the fruit of the Spirit.  According to Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV), "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."  You see, these positive attributes are not the product of a charming personality; they spring from a renewed heart and mind.  As TWR's Perry Beabout explains on today's Footsteps, "Christ is making a difference in those people's lives that is very visible. ... They have like a glow about them."  As believers in Jesus, as we grow closer to Him, may we all glow brightly from the inside out.
