Truthfully, Operation Christmas Child is wonderful on both the giving and receiving ends.  You see, as a family is selecting items for a shoebox, it's a great way to include even young children and get them involved in global missions.  And, for the children around the world who will receive that shoebox, it's not only a tangible gift, but it's an opportunity to hear about Jesus, and there is no doubt that Jesus is the best gift of all!
