Since joining TWR, my knowledge of geography has greatly improved, but I must admit that I had to take a look at a map a few minutes ago.  You see, on today's Footsteps, Travis Critcher of Samaritan's Purse mentions the country of Namibia.  While I knew it was in Africa, I didn't know Namibia's exact location on the continent.  (For the record, it's on the southwestern coast of Africa between Angola and South Africa.)  So, why am I giving you a geography lesson?  It all has to do with the Great Commission.  Jesus commands us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19a, ESV).  Jesus also told His disciples, "you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8b, ESV).  Here's my point: how can we carry the Gospel to "all nations," that is, "to the end of the earth," unless we are familiar with geography?  So I encourage you to pick up a map, or spin a globe, start studying and dreaming, and then see what part of the world God puts on your heart.
