Have you ever received word that, "The boss wants to see you"?  Or in school, were you ever called to the principal's office and you didn't know why?  Those situations can cause sudden anxiety!

On today's Footsteps, Ed Cannon of FEBC takes us to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan where a similar circumstance arose.  After about a year of broadcasting in this predominantly Muslim area, the mayor of the city called the FEBC studios and said, "I'd like to come and visit your station."  Ed remembers that the staff was "afraid."  You'll hear the full story when you listen to the program.

So, are you fearful of an upcoming conversation or meeting?  Or, are you simply worrierd about what tomorrow might bring?  I encourage you to keep 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV) in mind: "for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
