Why would a Christian radio station like TWR-Bonaire carry the news?  Some might argue, “Christian stations should stick to Biblical teaching programs and music.”  Well, let me give you three quick reasons for broadcasting the news.  First of all, we believe in informing the listener.  Secondly, we believe that believers report the news from a Christian worldview.  Finally, if we don’t provide coverage of the news, then listeners will look for it somewhere else.

Renata Nachtigall, a 40-year veteran of TWR has a fourth reason.  She maintains that some unbelievers will listen to TWR primarily for the news, and then if they keep listening, they will hear the Gospel.  Today’s Footsteps definitely backs up Renata’s argument!
