Prior to my current role with TWR, I served for 24 years with WMBW (Moody Radio Chattanooga).  Not only am I a veteran of local radio, I often still view Christian ministry through the eyes of a local morning host.

At the 2025 National Religious Broadcasters Convention, I met Rich Hooper, the station manager for KJRN-The Journey in Keene, TX.  Rich and I share the same heartbeat for local broadcasting.  As you'll learn on today's episode of Footsteps, we see the need for radio stations to get listeners involved in both local AND global ministry projects.  Truly, that approach to missions works for churchs and individuals as well.  I encourage you to listen to today's program and then look for opportunities next door and around the world to get more deeply involved in Jesus' Great Commission to His disciples--to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19a, NIV).
