Have you ever watched the 1970s television show The Six Million Dollar Man?  The storyline revolves around a former astronaut, Steve Austin, who had experienced a tragic crash but had been miraculously saved by a team of doctors who made him into a "bionic man."  At the opening of each episode, you would hear, "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him.  We have the technology..."

On today's Footsteps, TWR's Steve Shantz talks about flying over Cuba and seeing "small villages tucked away in the hills."  He thought, "those people can be reached through the signal from Bonaire."  Forgive me, but I can't help but think about those opening lines from The Six Million Dollar Man.  When we contemplate the Great Commission and our task of reaching people in the most remote areas, "we have the technology!"  We have radio, and we now have a 450,000-watt signal--the most powerful radio station in the Western Hemisphere!  To me, that's far more exciting than an old tv show!  We also now have the responsibility to get the job done.
