What exactly is a "social orphan?"  According to Alyona and Slavik Puzanova of Heritage Ukraine Foundation, "There is a category of parents that ... just give up their children ... because they cannot afford to have these children, or they neglect them."  So, if you were one of these children whose parents simply couldn't afford to keep you, and they turned you over to the government or to an orphanage, how would you feel?  Abandoned?  Likely.  May the Lord use the Puzanovas to introduce these children to their Heavenly Father who loves, protects, and provides for them and who will never abandon them!
