Joanne McKnight traveled recently with Bay and Peg Forrest of Focus Ministries to Cuba.  What was her role?  She went to pray for and with the women of Cuba.  But couldn’t Joanne have prayed from her home in Colorado?  On one hand, the answer is “yes.”  God is certainly big enough to hear our prayers no matter where we are in the world.  But, on the other hand, it was a personal encouragement to the Cuban women for Joanne to sit side by side and join hands with them in prayer.  Besides, Jesus clearly taught us, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20, ESV).
