Even though Joy Greene is a women’s conference/retreat speaker and hosts her own Christian radio program, she maintains that her husband Bryan is her “first ministry.”  And, at the same time, Bryan’s desire is for God to use his wife however He chooses to minister through her.  Concerning Joytime Ministries, Joy and Bryan are “in this together.”

I’m reminded of a quote from Peter Marshall—“ Marriage is not a federation of two sovereign states.  It is a union–domestic, social, spiritual, physical.  It is a fusion of two hearts–the union of two lives–the coming together of two tributaries, which, after being joined in marriage, will flow in the same channel in the same direction… carrying the same burdens of responsibility and obligation.” (1)
