Cuba Church History
Can a government erase Christianity from its culture? According to Alberto Gonzalez, TWR’s Ministry Director for Cuba, after the revolution in Cuba, the Cuban government took away from its people their Bibles, hymnals, as well as any Christian publications. The officials even closed all of Cuba's Christian bookstores, schools, and hospitals. What was left to feed the Church in Cuba? Radio. Since 1964, God has used TWR to sustain and grow the Cuban Church.
