I don't pray for sickness, but we know through Scripture and through personal experience that God works through infirmities and suffering.  In today's Footsteps, TWR's Abdoulaye Sangho gives us an example that backs up this biblical truth.  As a result of the recent Ebola outbreak in West Africa, Abdoulaye says, "It's tremendous to see how people are open when they are affected by a disease like Ebola, and it is also an open mind for them and an opportunity for us to share the Word of God."  I'm reminded of a quote from J.C. Ryle: "Health is a good thing; but sickness is far better, if it leads us to God."(1)
