A Whole Hispanic Resource
I bet that you've been in a business meeting and heard in response to a new proposal, "That's a great idea, but we just don't have the resources for it." You might have even heard those exact words in a committee meeting at church! It's true that the work of Christian ministry requires money and people, but let's not forget what Hudson Taylor, a missionary to China in the 1800s, once said, "God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply." So, where can we find "God's supply?" Jason Carlisle of the International Mission Board has found "a whole resource of people and finances and training and expertise" within the 30,000 hispanic churches in the United States, so his passion is to mobilize these churches to play a greater role in the Great Commission.
