I have traveled to Mexico three times with Buckner International and participated in their project "Shoes for Orphan Souls."  While the ministry starts with going into an impoverished community and putting new shoes and socks on the feet of children, the outreach goes far beyond new shoes!  On today's Footsteps, Buckner's Shawn Spurrier gives us just one example of the true impact of "Shoes for Orphan Souls," and in this particular story, it all started with a pink pair of shoes.  I never get tired of hearing these stories because I've experienced some of them firsthand.  Honestly, "Shoes for Orphan Souls" is a ministry that has touched my heart over and over again!
