Through the years, I've had the privilege of recording several interviews with Joni Eareckson Tada, and I've always come away encouraged and smiling.  Why?  Because Joni is filled to overflowing with joy!  In John 15:5 (NASB), Jesus teaches us, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."  Not only is Joni bearing "much fruit" through her radio program, Joni and Friends, and through ministry projects like Wheels for the World, but Joni glows with joy because she is abiding closely with Christ.  She is an excellent example of John 15:11 (ESV) where Jesus says, "These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
