As TWR's reporter on the fulfillment of the Great Commission, I have the opportunity to interview missionaries from all around the globe.  In certain parts of the world, the Gospel is well received, but in other areas, the Good News of Jesus is either ignored, or at times, met with hostility.  So, how does a missionary evangelize a group of people who view that missionary as an enemy?  Felix Widmer, TWR's International Director for Europe, says we have to "just love these people."  Even through insults, threats, and other forms of persecution, this stategy of love must continue.  I'm sure it's easier said than done.  I also bet that missionaries in these situations cling to 1 Peter 4:8 (ESV) which says, "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins."
