I vividly remember sitting across the dinner table one evening on the island of Boanire with TWR-Uruguay's Esteban Larrosa and listening to him explain how most of the U.S. based missionaries suddenly pulled out of Latin America several years back.  According to Esteban, many missions organizations believed that Latin America had been evangelized, so it was time to put their resources in other parts of the world.  Honestly, the conversation grieved me.  I have been to Mexico multiple times.  I've traveled to the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Ecuador, and I can tell you firsthand that there's still plenty of missionary work that needs to be done!  Pray that God will use today's Footsteps to plant some seeds which will eventually lead to several new missionaries for Latin America.
