While serving as full-time missionaries on Guam with TWR, Sterling and Gwen Ottun started a youth ministry at their church.  Speaking of his approach to youth evangelism and discipleship, Sterling says, "I always told the kids that they are the best to reach (other) kids their own age...teenagers reaching teenagers."  It makes sense to me.  We know how much of a role peer pressure plays in influencing our teenagers.  Why not naturally use positive, evangelistic, disciple-making peer pressure?  Besides, shouldn't we all, including teenagers, want to tell our friends about Jesus?  Pastor/theologian/author Andrew Murray put it this way: "Nature teaches us that every believer should be a soul-winner.  It is an essential part of the new nature.  We see it in every child who loves to tell of his happiness and to bring others to share his joys."(1)
