I remember my college internship back in the mid 1980s.  I spent my Saturdays one Autumn working for WLAC-AM 1510 in Nashville.  My job was to record college football game reports that were being phoned in from around the country.  Since I am a sports fan, the job was interesting, but I can't say that it was life changing.  On the other hand, Thomas Shifflett and Noah Bell just completed a two-month internship working with the staff of TWR-Bonaire.  You can hear about some of their specific assignments on yesterday's Footsteps.  But on today's program, they talk about their experience from a spiritual perspective.  For Thomas, the realization that his work at our powerful transmitting site was being used to "spread the Gospel" and bring eternal salvation to many people, simply gave him "chills."  I must admit, that's a lot more impactful than my updated list of football scores!
