In Mark chapter 6:7-9 (NLT), Jesus...

"...called his twelve disciples together and began sending them out two by two, giving them authority to cast out evil spirits.  He told them to take nothing for their journey except a walking stick—no food, no traveler’s bag, no money.  He allowed them to wear sandals but not to take a change of clothes."

When God called our family to leave our home in Tennessee and move to North Carolina to serve at the offices of TWR , I must admit, we didn't pack lightly.  In fact, we filled up a 53-foot moving van with several tons of furniture, clothing, books, toys, and junk.  On the other hand, when God called the Ghobads to leave their home in Germany for a missionary assignment in Cambodia, Dariush, his wife, and two young children sold "everything" they had, took only "four pieces of luggage...and boarded a plane."  There is no doubt that the Ghobad's journey sounds more like that of Jesus' disciples than the Napiers' experience!
