A-1 - Encouraged by What You Read?

Chuck Bentley, CEO of Crown Financial Ministries says on today's program, "I believe it's a privilege to fund God's work."  I'm reminded of what the Apostle Paul said concerning the churches of Macedonia who "in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and thier extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.  For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints  ..." (2 Corinthians 8:2-4, ESV).  Wow.  Even in the midst of poverty, they gave generously and then begged for the opportunity to give more!  As believers in Jesus, may we all have the same mindset as the Macedonian Church and view funding the Great Commission as an honor and a privilege.
