In Luke 24, after His resurrection, Jesus appears to His disciples.  At first, they were frightened, but after He showed them His hands and feet, and after He ate with them, they were ready to listen to Jesus.  In verse 45 (ESV), we read, "Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures."

As you listen to today's Footsteps, when TWR President Lauren Libby asks the Jordanian pastor about a couple that he had met earlier in the day, the pastor said "they were open to hear about the Word of God, and The Lord opened their heart to receive it."  Aren't you glad and excited that Jesus is still opening hearts and minds today!
