There is no doubt that soccer is the world's most popular sport.  It's played in over 200 countries.  So, doesn't it make sense that soccer would be a great way for missionaires to connect with people in many countries?  "John" thinks so.  He claims that the number one "religion" in the country where he ministers is soccer.  That's why he uses soccer as a means for building relationships and sharing the love of Christ with his soccer friends.
