In Genesis, we read how Joseph's brother sold him into slavery.  Then many years later, after Joseph has become "ruler over all the land of Egypt" (Genesis 45:8, ESV), his brothers appear before him.  Instead of bitterness, hatred, or anger, "Joseph said to them, 'Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good ...'" (Genesis 50: 19-20a, ESV).   

As you listen to today's Footsteps featuring Ethnos360 missionary Joyce Cain, you'll hear a similar attitude as she reflects on being chased by Guerillas in Colombia.  May our Sovereign God be praised for the way He advances His Kingdom even through the evil actions of sinful men.
