What do we know about Melchizekek?  According to Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek was the "king of Salem" as well as the "priest of God Most High."  We also know that Jesus has "become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek" (Hebrews 6:20) because Jesus is both our King and High Priest.

On a recent study trip to Israel, TWR's Sterling Ottun was privileged to go to a relatively new dig site where archaeologist Eli Shukron believes he has uncovered Melchizedek's altar.  You can visit the same site on TWR's upcoming "Expedition Israel," a study trip to the land of the Bible, May 28-June 9.
