Dr. Erwin Lutzer of Moody Church in Chicago, often asks, "What would D.L. Moody think of us if he were able to look down from Heaven today and see Moody Church?"  I'm sure he would be pleased about Moody Church's "By The Hand Club For Kids" which reaches out to "about a 1000 children in the most under-resourced, drug-infested areas of Chicago."  Even the mayor of Chicago has praised this program for kids.  That sounds familiar.  You see, back in D.L. Moody's day, in the mid 1800s, his Sunday school also attracted the attention of some political leaders.  In fact, while on his way to Washington to serve his first term, President-elect Abraham Lincoln made a personal visit to Moody's Sunday school!
