I've heard Alberto Gonzalez described as "The Billy Graham of Cuba."  I've also heard that in Christian circles in Cuba, Alberto is viewed somewhat like a "rock star."  Why?  Partly because Alberto is the host of the only Christian radio program that originates in Cuba.  The other major factor is Alberto's testimony and witness.  In the mid-1960s, Alberto was a student in the Baptist Seminary in Cuba.  He and 15 other students were arrested by the government and imprisoned in a forced labor camp.  After his release, when many people were trying to escape Cuba, Alberto chose to remain in his home country.  By staying, God has used Alberto Gonzalez through the subsequent decades as a pastor, evangelist, and radio host in spreading the Gospel of Jesus among his fellow Cubans.
