Those Nonchurchy Italians
When I think of Italy, I think of wonderful food, European art, and stone cathedrals. But, I was surprised to learn from Anke Wiegers in today's Footsteps that even though Italy is filled with church buildings, "Italians never ever read the Bible." Anke works with Centro de Radiodiffusione Christiana (TWR's national partner in Italy). Anke maintains that because most Italians are unchurched, TWR must use a "plain Bible study offered in a way that a nonchurchy people would like to hear." This approach is just another example of how TWR tailors broadcasts for each particular country and people group.
