In my role as the host of Footsteps, I gather and report on stories related to Christian missions from around the globe.  I also keep my eyes and ears open to world news in general.  But I must admit, I was surprised to learn that I had totally missed a major news story from Haiti.  On today's Footsteps, Radio 4VEH's Kate Michel informs us that "one of the things that's really hit people hard is the fuel crisis."  I had known about the numerous hurricanes and earthquakes that have struck the Caribbean country, but I had not heard about a "fuel crisis."  Maybe it's news to you as well.  I hope you'll listen to today's program and then pray for the people of Haiti.
