Whenever I travel with TWR, I always carry my digital recorder with me.  I never know when God might open up the opportunity for an interview.  For example, while traveling home from the island of Bonaire in the Caribbean, I bumped into Esteban Rodas of Radio Cultural (TWR's national partner in Guatemala) at the Curacao International Airport.  So, right there at the gate, with the help of an interpreter, Esteban told me about the past and present ministry of Radio Cultural. 

One thing that stood out to me was the two-pronged approach of Radio Cultural--to evangelize the lost and edify the Church.  You see, it's not one or the other.  Rather, it must be both--leading people to Christ and then helping them grow in their faith.  That's discipleship, isn't it?  An unknown author put it this way, "Soul winning should lead to soul building."(1)
